article 503.1 C.C.P. [ 2 ] This is the second such uncontested motion filed by the appellant. [ 3 ] The parties are in negotiations in view to coming to a settlement of the matter. The appellant says they are proceeding with due dispatch to that end. [ 4 ] In the circumstances, it is in the interest of justice to grant this second motion. Under

article 503.1 C.C.P., the general rule is that the extension is only granted for 30 days, which will be adhered to in this instance: it is hoped that the parties get down to brass tacks in their negotiations. FOR THE AFOREMENTIONED REASONS , the undersigned: [ 5 ] GRANTS the motion to extend the time limit within which the appellant must file its factum and EXTENDS that time limit until December 8, 2014.
