Ariane Simard-Trudel, Clerk at the hearing JUDGMENT [ 1 ] The Appellant seeks to vary the conditions of an interim release order as set out in the judgment of Marcotte, J.A. dated April 29, 2022. [1] The Respondent does not oppose the motion and I am satisfied that it should be granted. FOR THESE REASONS, THE UNDERSIGNED: [ 2 ] GRANTS the Motion to vary the conditions of an order for interim release from custody; [ 3 ] REPLACES conditions number 4, 6 and 7 of the interim release order as set out in the judgment of Marcotte, J.A. dated April 29, 2022, with the following conditions:

a) Être à sa résidence entre 23 h et 6 h sauf pour fin de travail légitime ou être au [...], Montréal, QC, CA, ou sauf avec l’autorisation écrite de l’Intimé – Poursuivant ;

b) Ne pas quitter la province de Québec sauf pour fin de travail légitime, ou sauf avec l’autorisation écrite de l’Intimé – Poursuivant ;

c) Ne pas présenter de demande d’émission d’un passeport de n’importe quelle nationalité, sauf avec l’autorisation écrite de l’Intimé – Poursuivant ; Version anglaise des conditions ci-après :

a) Remain at his residence between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m., except for work purposes or to be at [...], Montreal, QC, CA, or except with the written permission of the Respondent – Prosecution;

b) Do not leave the province of Quebec except for work purposes or except with the written permission of the Respondent – Prosecution;

c) Abstain from applying for a passport of any nationality except with the written permission of the Respondent – Prosecution; [ 4 ] ORDERS the court office of the Court of Québec to release the Canadian passport it holds in the name of Roger Seepersad (in files 500-01154011-172 and 500-01-139592-163) to Roger Seepersad or to his counsel, Mtre Robert Israel or Mtre Jessica Lalancette.
