[ 1 ] The Court is seized with a motion to obtain an order of placement for adoption of the child X with Mrs B and her spouse Mr A. [ 2 ] The child X was born […], 1998 in Town A, Ontario. [ 3 ] Mrs B is the mother of the child X.

No father is declared. [ 4 ] The mother gave her consent to the adoption of her daughter by Mr A. [ 5 ] The child agrees with the legal procedure and gave her consent. [ 6 ] The applicant is married with the mother since August 26, 2006 and the child is living with the applicant and her mother since September 2003. [ 7 ] Considering the evidence, [ 8 ] Considering the child's best interest, [ 9 ] FOR THESE MOTIVES, THE COURT : [ 10 ] GRANTS the petition; [ 11 ] ORDERS the placement of X, born […], 1998, with Mrs B and Mr A in a view to adopt the child; [ 12 ] ENTRUSTS the applicant and the mother, Mrs B and Mr A, with the parental authority during the placement period; [ 13 ] ACKNOWLEDGES that it is of the intention of the applicant and the mother that during the placement period, the child be known as X ; [ 14 ] REDUCES the placement period from 6 months to 3 months; [ 15 ] ORDERS the clerk to send a copy of the judgment to the applicant.
