[ 1 ] The Applicant requests the placement of a child of male sex, named X , born on […], 2006, in city A, Québec (Exhibit R-3) . [ 2 ] The child has a maternal filiation established by birth certificate (Exhibit R-3). [ 3 ] The child has no paternal filiation and no dative tutor. [ 4 ] The petitioner-adopter has more than 18 years of difference in age with the child (Exhibits R-2 and R-3) . [ 5 ] The child lives with the petitioner-adopter since June 11 th , 2009; [ 6 ] The petitioner-adopter has the necessary qualities to assume the parental authority towards the child as appears moreffuly from a social history (Exhibit R-7) . [ 7 ] Considering that the conditions of the placement of the child for his adoption by the petitioner-adopter have been duly fulfilled; [ 8 ] Considering the time that the child has lived with the Applicant prior to this Order;

[ 9 ] Considering the interests of the child and the respect of his rights; FOR THESE REASONS, THE COURT: [ 10 ] GRANTS the motion; [ 11 ] ORDERS the placement of the child with the petitioner-adopter B ; [ 12 ] CONFERS the exercise of parental authority towards the child to the petitioner-adopter B ; [ 13 ] AUTHORIZES the child to exercise his civil rights under the name of X during the period of this placement.
