GRIMARD, J.C.Q. ______________________________________________________________________ MARY ALICE COOPER Plaintiff vs ANNIE ANGNATUK GORDON Defendant ______________________________________________________________________ JUDGMENT BY DEFAULT (Damages) ______________________________________________________________________ [ 1 ] The plaintiff, Mary Alice Cooper, is requesting from the defendant, Annie Angnatuk Gordon, that she pay the damages that were caused to her vehicle in the amount of 1,442.47$. [ 2 ] On or about September 23 rd , 2010, Mrs. Cooper had parked her SUV in front of the Kuujjuaq Inn.

During the evening, Mrs. Angnatuk Gordon backed up, with her own vehicle, into the SUV belonging to Mrs. Cooper, causing damages in the amount of 1,442.47$, as per the invoices filed under P4 . [ 3 ] Mrs. Patricia York testified that she saw Mrs. Angnatuk Gordon back up into Mrs. Cooper's vehicle. [ 4 ] The payment for the damages caused was duly requested by means of a formal notice. The defendant failed or refused to pay. [ 5 ] Considering the evidence, the plaintiff is entitled to receive the amount of the damages caused to her vehicle of 1,442.47$. FOR THESE MOTIVES, THE COURT: [ 6 ] GRANTS the present claim;

[ 7 ] ORDERS the defendant to pay the plaintiff the amount of 1,442.47$ with interests according to the legal rate as well as the additional indemnity stipulated in the
