[ 1 ] On June 21, 2021, a judgment of placement for adoption of the child is rendered.

The court then reduces the placement to three months. [ 2 ] The applicants now ask the court to pronounce the adoption of the child. [ 3 ] The child has been living with the applicants for more than ten years. She considers them as her parents and wishes that they adopt her. Both applicants consider the child as their daughter. [ 4 ] A report was produced by the director of youth protection and it strongly recommends the adoption. [ 5 ] The adoption meets the child’s best interest. [ 6 ] All legal prescriptions were respected.

FOR THESE REASONS, THE COURT: [ 7 ] GRANTS the adoption by the applicants of the child X, born on […]; [ 8 ] ORDERS that the child bears the last name and first name of X ; [ 9 ] ORDERS the clerk of the Court to notify the registrar of civil status the present judgment of adoption; [ 10 ] ORDERS the registrar of civil status to make the necessary inscriptions as required by law; [ 11 ] AUTHORIZES the clerk of the Court to transmit to the applicants their original birth certificates; [ 12 ] ORDERS the clerk of the court to deliver a certified copy of this judgment to the parties and their attorneys; [ 13 ] THE WHOLE without costs.
