In the case of : X ([…], 1996) JUDGMENT ON A MOTION FOR PROTECTION ( Sec. 38 , Youth Protection Act, R.S.Q. c.
P-34.1 ) [ 1 ] The Director of Youth Protection asks the Court to declare that the development and security of the youth X is endangered under sec. 38f) and 38a) of the Youth Protection Act . [ 2 ] The youth's mother left city A in June 2008 with her spouse and 2 daughters, leaving the youth with his grand-father because her spouse, on account of the youth's behavioral problems, did not want the youth to accompany them in province A where he moved. [ 3 ] The youth of course reacted and displayed behavioral problems, especially being aggressive at school and eventually at the reception center, displaying suicidal thoughts and not respecting authority. [ 4 ] The father has not been involved with the child and did not have contacts with him for many months; [ 5 ] The mother is moving back to city A in order to be with her son, to take care of him and to raise him; [ 6 ] FOR THESE REASONS, THE COURT : [ 7 ] GRANTS the petition for protection; [ 8 ] DECLARES the security and development of the youth X to be endangered, under sec. 38f) and 38a) of the Youth Protection Act ; [ 9 ] ORDERS the placement of the youth in a Rehabilitation Center for a maximum of 4 month with a gradual reintegration within the mother's residence if the situation allows it within 2 months; [ 10 ] ORDERS that the youth attends school on a regular basis; [ 11 ] ORDERS that the contacts between the parents and the youth be determined by the Director of Youth Protection as for their duration, frequency, modality and degree of supervision; [ 12 ] ORDERS that the parents report periodically to the Director on the measures they apply in their own regard to put an end to the situation; [ 13 ] ORDERS a social follow-up for the youth and his parents for a period of 9 months; [ 14 ] ENTRUSTS the situation of the youth to the D.Y.P. for the purpose of enforcing this order;
