Every person who contravenes this provision commits an offence and is liable to a fine (ss. 11.2, 11.2.1 and 135 Y.P.A. ). [ 1 ] The Director of Youth Protection applied to have a tutor appointed for X, born on [...], 2014. [ 2 ] The child attended the hearing by videoconference and was assisted by counsel. [ 3 ] The child is an orphan and does not have a dative tutor.

Since July 21, 2017, he has been the subject of a decision of the Court of Quebec, Youth Division. X was entrusted to a foster family. [ 4 ] Mrs. B is the maternal grandmother. She is a person who is important for X and is prepared to assume the tutorship of the child. She is, however, elderly. She is not ready to assume custody of X on a daily basis and agrees that the child should remain in a foster family.
