Anne Dumont, Clerk at the hearing JUDGMENT [ 1 ] Seeing Petitioner’s Application to vary bail conditions pursuant to section 675 (5) Cr.C . ; [ 2 ] Seeing the judgment of the Honourable Martin Vauclair, J.A., of July 16, 2019, granting interim release and particularly condition 12 thereof, which obliges Petitioner to report to the RCMP twice per week to sign the register; [ 3 ] Considering the need to minimize movement according to the measures adopted by the Government of Quebec in response to the Covid-19 pandemic; [ 4 ] Seeing that the Application is not contested.

FOR THESE REASONS, THE UNDERSIGNED: [ 5 ] GRANTS the Application to vary bail conditions; [ 6 ] VARIES condition of release number 12 in the judgment of July 16, 2019 of the Honourable Martin Vauclair, J.A., to read as follows: 12. Report to the RCMP twice a week at 2200 Reverchon Ave., suite 288, Dorval, Québec, H9P 2S7, to sign the register every Monday and Wednesday between 7:30 am and 3:30 pm starting on July 17. When reporting falls on a statutory holiday, he shall report on the next business day.

During the period of the state of emergency imposed by the Government of Quebec on March 13, 2020 the obligation to report to the RCMP and sign the register is replaced by an obligation to call the detachment every Wednesday between 7:30 am and 3:30 pm by telephone from [...] being the landline associated with his residential address.
