In the case of : X ( […] , 1997) JUDGMENT ON A MOTION FOR REVISION (Sec. 95(1) Youth Protection Act) [ 1 ] The Director of Youth Protection asks the Court to revise an order made on May 24, 2011 entrusting the youth X to a rehabilitation center for a period of 6 months. [ 2 ] The situation of the mother, who is under the administration of the Public Curator, remains the same and she is unable to deal with some of the challenges that the youth presents. [ 3 ] The youth's behavior has improved in the rehabilitation center to a point that his foster family, who had regular contacts with him while he was entrusted to the center and who received him in August for two weeks, is willing to continue to care for him until his age of majority. [ 4 ] That foster family where he had in the past been placed wants the youth to keep his ties with his A culture even though he lives out of A. [ 5 ] FOR THESE REASONS THE COURT : [ 6 ] GRANTS the motion for revision; [ 7 ] DECLARES that the situation constitutes new facts; [ 8 ] DECLARES that the security and development of the youth are still compromised; [ 9 ] ORDERS that X be placed in the foster family of Mr.

A and Mrs. B until his majority; [ 10 ] ORDERS that X attend school on a regular basis; [ 11 ] ORDERS that X continue to take his medication as prescribed by his doctor; [ 12 ] ORDERS that the youth receive the specific health care and services that he needs, especially for his hearing problem; [ 13 ] ORDERS the Director of Youth Protection to see that the special and specific services needed by the youth in Town A be put in place without any delay; [ 14 ] ORDERS that the youth maintain regular phone contacts with is mother and visit his family in A at least 3 times a year;

[ 15 ] ORDERS the Director of Youth Protection to set a visit by the mother to her child and the foster family within the next 4 months; [ 16 ] ORDERS that aid, counselling and assistance be provided to the youth, his family and is foster family until his majority; [ 17 ] ENTRUSTS the youth's situation to the Director of Youth Protection for the purpose of implementing this order.
