A B Parents ______________________________________________________________________ JUDGMENT ______________________________________________________________________ WARNING: The Youth Protection Act forbids the publishing or broadcasting of information allowing for a child or the child’s parents to be identified.
Any person who contravenes this provision commits an offence and is liable to a fine (sections 11.2, 11.2.1 and 135 Y.P.A.). [ 1 ] On June 3, 2020, the Court renders an order applying various measures of protection for one year in reason of the adolescent’s behavioural issues and his being subject to educational neglect in his family environment. [ 2 ] Since this judgment, the adolescent and his family participate in various services.
The adolescent is now working and able to better regulate his emotions. [ 3 ] The situation improves to the point that the Director submits that the situation of endangerment is no longer active and their services no longer required.
The adolescent and his parents concur by way of an agreement of non-attendance. [ 4 ] The Court, after considering the evidence, endorses the application. [ 5 ] FOR ALL THESE REASONS, THE COURT: [ 6 ] GRANTS the application for revision of a Court decision; [ 7 ] REVISES the judgment rendered on June 3, 2020; [ 8 ] DECLARES that the security and development of the adolescent are not in danger. __________________________________ BÉATRICE CLÉMENT, J.C.Q.
