section 95 of the Youth Protection Act. [ 2 ] At the beginning of the hearing, the attorney for the Director of the Youth Protection stated that this petition is based on the following motives: - The relation between the adolescent and her mother is still very fragile; - The adolescent has to improve her behaviours before when can expect a return with her family; [ 3 ] The Court, with the consent of the attorney, read the report filed by M e Ginette Daigle, attorney for the Director of Youth Protection and heard the testimonies of [intervenante 1] from the Youth Protection Director and Mrs.
A the mother. [ 4 ] The mother considers that a period of six months of placement in a readaptation center would be more appropriate than the period of three months suggested by the Youth Protection. [ 5 ] After reviewing the evidence, the Court considers that the adolescent needs to take steps toward her autonomy has proposed by Mrs. [intervenante 1] considering the facts that she will be seventeen in July and that she made progress in the readaptation center where she is since the end of June 2011. [ 6 ] Given the consent of all parties with the social practitioner's recommendations; THEREFORE THE COURT : GRANTS the petition; DECLARES that the security and the development of the adolescent is still compromise; REVISES AND EXTENDS the decision rendered on August 8 th , 2011 by the Honourable Judge Louise Turpin; ORDERS that X be entrusted to a rehabilitation center until the 22 nd of May 2012 and after that date she be entrusted to the Center A to receive the care and assistance she needs including her lodging; RECOMMENDS that X and her mother collaborates and participates in the intervention plan; ORDERS that a person authorised by the Director of Youth Protection provides aid, counsel and assistance to the adolescent and her family until […], 2013; ENTRUSTS the situation of the adolescent to the Director of Youth Protection who shall then see that the measures are carried out.
