[ 1 ] The Applicant-Adopters and the Director of Youth Protection A are asking the Court to grant an order of placement for adoption of the child X , born on [...], 2016 in Town A. [ 2 ] CONSIDERING the documentary evidence in the file, more specifically the Complementary Report written by Mrs. [Social Worker 1], dated April 2 nd , 2019; [ 3 ] CONSIDERING that on May 22, 2018, the mother signed a general consent to adoption; [ 4 ] CONSIDERING that the mother has not withdrawn her consent; [ 5 ] CONSIDERING the testimony of the mother; [ 6 ] CONSIDERING that the child’s paternity has not been recognized; [ 7 ] CONSIDERING the testimony of the Applicant-Adopters; [ 8 ] CONSIDERING that all the legal requirements have been met; [ 9 ] CONSIDERING that the child has been residing with the Applicant-Adopters since February 2017; [ 10 ] CONSIDERING that the conclusions sought by the motion for an order of placement are in the best interest of the child; FOR THESE REASONS, THE COURT: [ 11 ] GRANTS the motion; [ 12 ] ORDERS the placement for adoption of the child with A and B, without recognition of the pre-existing bonds of filiation; [ 13 ] ACKNOWLEDGES that it is the intention of the Applicant-Adopters that during the period of placement the child be known as X ; [ 14 ] REDUCES the placement period from six months to three months;
