NETTOYEURS VICTORIA Defendant ______________________________________________________________________ JUDGMENT ______________________________________________________________________ [ 1 ] Plaintiff is suing the Defendant Nettoyeurs Victoria because his ˮpants would have disappeared at La Fortune Drycleanersˮ. [ 2 ] Plaintiff claims the amount of $162.34 to Defendant. [ 3 ] Plaintiff alleges that La Fortune Drycleaner in Westmount operates under the name Victoria Drycleaners. [ 4 ] Defendant contests that claim and argue: 1- that there is no lien de droit between Plaintiff and Defendant; 2- that Victoria Cleaners has never operated under the name La Fortune Drycleaners.

JUDGMENT [ 5 ] According to the coupon [1] on March 27, 2017, Plaintiff brought a piece of clothing to La Fortune Nettoyeur – Tailleur located at 345 Victoria Avenue, Westmount. [ 6 ] According to the Enterprise Register of August 1 st , 2018, the company number 9355-7247 Quebec Inc. incorporated on February 23 rd , 2017 operates under the name of Nettoyeurs Lafortune who’s located at 345 Victoria Avenue, Westmount. [ 7 ] Nettoyeurs Victoria and Lafortune Nettoyeur are different companies. [ 8 ] Contrary to Plaintiff’s allegation, Nettoyeurs Victoria does not operate under the name of Lafortune Nettoyeur. [ 9 ] Therefore, the Court concludes that Nettoyeurs Victoria never did business with Plaintiff and that there is no lien de droit between the two parties.
