In the case of : X ([…], 1999) JUDGMENT ON A MOTION FOR REVISION (Sec. 95(1) Youth Protection Act) [ 1 ] The Director of Youth Protection seeks the revision of the order made on May 3, 2011 entrusting the youth to his great grandfather. [ 2 ] The mother still displays alcohol related problems and still does not represent an authority for the youth. [ 3 ] However, since the great grandfather had to be "medevac" and hospitalized in Town A in September for close to a month, the mother took care of her child with the help of other members of the family. [ 4 ] The child displayed behavior problems at school and did not attend it on a regular basis at the end of the past school year but improved his school attendance and anger management since September 2011 even though he continues to stay out late at night. [ 5 ] The parties submitted a draft agreement on the measures that should be ordered and the Court is satisfied that the draft agreement respects the rights and interest of the child. [ 6 ] FOR THESE REASONS THE COURT : [ 7 ] GRANTS the motion for revision; [ 8 ] DECLARES that the security and development of the child X are still in danger; [ 9 ] DECLARES that the present situation constitutes news facts that justify the revision of the previous order; [ 10 ] ORDERS the implementation of the measures described in the draft agreement; [ 11 ] THEREFORE : [ 12 ] ORDERS that the youth be entrusted to his great grandfather for another period of 6 months; [ 13 ] ORDERS that a person working for an institution or body provide aid, counseling or assistance to the child and the great grandfather; [ 14 ] ORDERS that the child receive specific health care and health services required by his situation; [ 15 ] ORDERS that the child or the child's parents report in person, at regular intervals, to the Director to inform him of the current situation; [ 16 ] ORDERS that the child attend school or another place of learning of participates in a program geared to developing skills and autonomy;

[ 17 ] ORDERS that the child benefit from a follow-up to help him learn to manage his anger and to handle his emotions; [ 18 ] ORDERS that a family-council be held by the worker, with the extended family, to discuss the future of the child and put in place a supportive plan to assist the great grandfather in the exercise of his parental authority; [ 19 ] ORDERS that the police collaborate in the execution of the agreement; [ 20 ] ORDERS that the youth's situation be entrusted to The Director of Youth Protection of A for the purpose of executing the said enactment; PC/nc PAUL CHEVALIER, J.C.Q.
