Mélanie Camiré, Clerk at the hearing JUDGMENT [ 1 ] The applicant seeks an order extending the time to appeal the judgment rendered by the Court of Québec on May 4, 2021, pursuing to which he was found guilty of a number of offences in a context of domestic violence. At this point in time, his intention is to appeal the verdict on various grounds raising questions of law. [ 2 ] The application is not contested and, in my opinion, the applicable requirements are met.

FOR THESE REASONS, THE UNDERSIGNED: [ 3 ] GRANTS the motion to extend the time for appeal; [ 4 ] EXTENDS the time to appeal the judgment rendered on May 4, 2021 by the Court of Québec; [ 5 ] ALLOWS the applicant until November 5, 2021 to serve and file a notice of appeal and/or an application for leave to appeal.
