[ 2 ] The conversion rate of US dollars to Canadian dollars at the Bank of Canada on the date of the hearing being 1.0971 (P-4), Plaintiff’s claim is equal to CA $3,678.38. [ 3 ] Although the Defendant had filed a contestation in the Court’s record, he was not present at the hearing. [ 4 ] SEEING the testimony of David Franklin at hearing; [ 5 ] SEEING the exhibits filed in support of the claim; [ 6 ] SEEING that Plaintiff’s claim is well founded; [ 7 ] WHEREFORE, THE COURT: [ 8 ] CONDEMNS the Defendant to pay to the Plaintiff the amount of CA $ 3,678.38 with interest and the additional indemnity provided for by
