[ 2 ] A general consent to adoption has been signed by the biological parents on August 28, 2007. [ 3 ] The social assessment of the adoptive parents has been filed and both of them testify as to their family environment and their desire to adopt the child. [ 4 ] They have been assuming the care, maintenance and education of the child since December 17, 2006.

More specifically since three days following the birth of the child.

Consequently, the placement period can be reduced to the minimum authorized by the Law. [ 5 ] Given the evidence tendered and the respect of the legal prescriptions, the Court concludes that the order of placement is in the child's best interest and respects her rights.
