section 38 of the Youth Protection, introduced by the Director of Youth Protection, for the purposes of declaring that the security and the development of X are considered to be in danger for the following reasons: - The child's mother is not able to provide for the child's basic needs due to her drug and alcohol use. [ 2 ] In support of his recommendations, the attorney for the Director of Youth Protection submits a report (D-1) prepared by the declarant Mrs. [Social Worker 1]. [ 3 ] Given the evidence adduced consisted mainly in the filling of the social practitioner's report; [ 4 ] Given the consent of all parties with the social practitioner's recommendations; THEREFORE THE COURT : GRANTS the petition; DECLARES that the security and the development of the child are compromise for the motives alleged in the said petition; ORDERS that X be entrusted to his father for a period of 8 months; ORDERS that the contacts between X and his mother be according to the modalities established by the delegate of the Director of Youth Protection; RECOMMENDS that X receives the necessary care required for his specific needs (daycare, speech therapy, etc.); RECOMMENDS that Mrs.
A actively participates to the measures applied to put an end to X's compromised situation: o that Mrs. A continues to actively participate in a therapy related to her alcohol and drug consumption and follows the recommendations of the professional; o that Mrs. A participates in an individual psychosocial follow up and respects the recommendations of the professionals (medication prescribed, presence at appointments, etc.); o that Mrs. A actively participates in the elaboration, revision and actualisation of her family's intervention plan; o that Mrs. A reports her situation once every second week to the CJO;
RECOMMENDS that Mr. B actively participates to the measures applied to put an end to X's compromised situation: o that Mr. B successfully completes an anger management therapy and of follows the recommendations of the professional; o that Mr. B successfully completes a follow-up regarding his drug (marijuana) consumption and follows the recommendations of the professional; o that Mr. B actively participates in the elaboration, revision and actualisation of his family's intervention plan; o that Mr.
B reports his situation once every second week to the CJ[A]; ORDERS that the person authorised by the Director of Youth Protection provides aid, counsel and assistance to the child and his family for a period of 12 months; ENTRUSTS the situation of the child to the Director of Youth Protection who shall then see that the measures are carried out. __________________________________ MICHEL SÉGUIN, J.C.Q.
