[ 1 ] The Court is seized of a introductory petition for adoption concerning the male child name X , born on [...] in Town A , as being the child of C and D ; [ 2 ] A judgment of placement for adoption of the child X with the plaintiffs was rendered by the undersigned on February 4, 2015. [ 3 ] The child lives with the plaintiffs since several years.

The plaintiffs are his grandparents. He is well adapted to his adoptive family. He wishes to be adopted by the plaintiffs. [ 4 ] It is in the best interest of the child to be adopted, in accordance with his rights. The legal prescriptions were respected.

WHEREFORE, THE COURT: [ 5 ] SHORTENS to three months the period of placement for the presentation of the introductory petition for adoption; [ 6 ] GRANTS the adoption of X by the joint plaintiffs; [ 7 ] ORDERS that the child bears the last name and the name of X ; [ 8 ] ORDERS the clerk of the Court, to notify the registrar of civil status the present judgment of adoption; [ 9 ] ORDERS the registrar of civil status to make the necessary inscriptions as required by Law; [ 10 ] AUTHORIZES the clerk to remit the joint plaintiffs their birth and marriage certificates; [ 11 ] THE WHOLE to be worth at Law. __________________________________ JANICK POIRIER, J.C.Q.
