NICK MASSEEFORD -and- KIMBERLY IMOFF Defendants ______________________________________________________________________ JUDGMENT ______________________________________________________________________ [ 1 ] Plaintiff is claiming 325.00$ for work done at the defendants’ residence. The case proceeds by default. [ 2 ] The parties entered into an agreement during the fall of 2013. As for the two preceding seasons, the plaintiff was to plow the snow of the defendants’ driveway. There was to be a payment of half the amount on the 15th of November and the balance was due to be paid on the 15 th of January.
Plaintiff received none of them. [ 3 ] He did the work, was never paid and the balance owing is 325.00$. FOR THESE REASONS, THE COURT: [ 4 ] CONDEMNS the defendants to pay solidarily an amount of 325.00$ to plaintiff, with interests at the legal rate, plus the additional indemnity provided for by art. 1619 of the Civil Code of Québec , as of the 15th of January 2014.
