SUMMARY

This enactment amends the Customs Tariff to extend the General Preferential Tariff and the Least Developed Country Tariff to June 30, 2014.

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:

Section 36 of the Customs Tariff is replaced by the following:

Expiry date

Sections 33 to 35 cease to have effect on June 30, 2014 or on such earlier date as may be fixed by order of the Governor in Council.

Section 40 of the Act is replaced by the following:

Expiry date

Sections 37 to 39 cease to have effect on June 30, 2014 or on such earlier date as may be fixed by order of the Governor in Council.
