New section 49.2 applies to kidney, liver, lung, pancreas an d small bowel donations; other organs and tissue may be adde d by regulation. La Loi de 2000 sur les normes d’emploi est modifiée afin de prévoir un congé non payé d’au plus 13 semaines pour les em- ployés qui subissent une intervention chirurgicale en vue de donner un organe à une autre personne. Le nouvel article 49.2 vise les dons de rein, de foie , de poumon, de pancréas et d’intestin grêle; d’autres organe s et tissus peuvent être ajoutés par règlement. The maximum leave period may be varied by regulation, and the leave may be extended for medical reasons for a further perio d of up to 13 weeks. La durée maximale du congé peut être modifiée par règlement, et le congé peut être prolongé d’une durée supplémentaire d’au plus 13 semaines pour des raisons médicales. Under the Act, a public sector employee’s salary shall not exceed the amount that is twice the Premier’s annual salary. Exceptions are provided for salaries that were established before the Bill comes into force, for salaries that are established under a collective agreement, and for salaries of employees prescribed by regulation for work of a scientific or technical nature. Le projet de loi édicte la Loi de 2015 sur le plafonnement des hauts traitements du secteur public . En application de cette loi, les traitements des employés du secteur public ne doivent pas dépasser le double du traitement annuel du premier ministre.
