The Commis- sion has the powers of a commission under a public inquiry. Once the inquiry begins, the Commi ssion must make an interim report in six months and a final report in 12 months. Le projet de loi exige que le lieutenant-gouverneur en conseil crée une commission chargée de faire enquête et rapport sur le rôle de la Province dans le conf lit en cours sur la propriété Dou- glas Creek Estates à Caledonia et de formuler des recommanda- tions à cet égard. La commiss ion est investie des pouvoirs conférés à une commission dans le cadre d’enquêtes publiques. Une fois l’enquête commencée, la commission doit présenter un rapport provisoire dans les six mois et un rapport définitif dans les 12 mois. Colle Projet de loi de député 1re lecture 25 septembre 2000 2e lecture 3e lecture Sanction royale Imprimé par l’Assemblée législative de l’Ontario EXPLANATORY NOTE NOTE EXPLICATIVE The Bill requires the Minister to establish an area of land as the Oak Ridges Moraine Bioregion. The Bill creates the Oak Ridges Moraine Commission, which must prepare the Oak Ridges Moraine Bioregion Plan, after specified public consult a- tion. A temporary development freeze is imposed on the Oak Ridges Moraine until the Plan comes into force.
